There was a cat
Sitting on a chair.
He smiled and it wasn't that hard to see,
Because all but the grin disappeared.
Yes, he was amused
And yes, he was diverted,
But I tell you this truly:
Inspiration may end, but he will not be halted!
Though with wisdom it seems
That one should run slowly,
Even while having too much fun.
Clearly, it has come to this.
Imagine the tricks
That could belabor a scheme
In the depths of the night
After the Kiwi art.
